Addison has a new cousin!

John Kaden Robinson arrived 1-16-09. 7lbs 1 oz. 20 in.

It was amazing to see the difference in size that a month makes. The picture below does not show it well, but Addison looked a lot bigger than Kaden at just a month older and a pound and a half bigger.

Little Kaden is such a "Mini-Me" of his daddy...good thing witnesses saw Stacey give birth or some may have their doubts that she is really his Mama. Kaden has no resemblences to Stacey yet.

What a beautiful little family. I am so proud of my handsome little nephew! Stacey and Cory did well.

Alex captured another precious shot of Addison. This was taken while we were visiting Kaden in the hospital...just 1 month and 2 days old. I am not sure how the last month has flown by so fast, but I have loved every second of it (minus the scare when she was first born!). I want time to slow down. She is already growing up faster than I would like.

This was taken on Saturday morning as Addison and I were getting ready to head back down to see Kaden.

All Worn Out

The trip to the Doctor's office and lunch with Pappa completely wore Addison out. I snapped this picture of her on Wednesday afternoon as she recovered from her first major outing. We are hoping the Aunt Stacey has Kaden this week, and we will get to have another major outing!


Here are some pictures from Saturday, January 3rd. These were taken as she was getting slathered down with lotion after her first bath. I was a little nervous to bathe her alone (Daddy was gone all day shooting his first wedding), so we had Nana help. Unfortunately, we didn't get any actual bath pictures where she wasn't completely exposed. I think those are cute, but not everyone else may agree.

Addison's Check-up

Today was Addison's first check-up since our eating ordeal. She is doing wonderfully!!! and Mommy is super happy about that. She weighed in at 8 lb. 9 0z. and is now 21 inches long....that's right, she has grown a full two inches already! These stats put her in the 50th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height. Dr. Kosse said she looked great and sounded great -- strong heart and lungs. Thank heavens she is healthy and strong now!!!

Addison was a little traumatized by the whole visit. She wasn't happy about being stripped down and poked and prodded. Thankfully she won't remember it.

After our appointment, we met Pappa at Cheddar's for lunch. He had just sold his calves, so was in St. Joe also. Addison slept through most of the lunch. I guess the Doctor wore her out.

Happy 2009

Addison is getting her bath getting ready for her check-up at the doctor's office Wednesday morning. I don't think she would describe this as "Happy 2009." She did pretty well with the bath, but was not totally thrilled with the experience.



On Sunday, January 4th, Grammy Pam and Grandpa Fitz came to see Addison and celebrate Christmas. They brought her some fun toys (she loves the one with blinking lights) and dinner for me and Alex. Kora also got spoiled with a floppy, squeeking stuffed dog.

Uncle Tommy loves his little niece! Tommy drove up on New Year's Eve to see Addison. He's a great uncle...he fed her and burped her and played with her and she loved it. Uncle Tommy also got her the cutest little Mizzou jacket for Christmas. It should fit her perfectly this spring.
