2-month Check-up

On Tuesday, February 17th, Addison had her 2-month check-up and vaccines. She weighed 13.1 pounds and was 23 inches long. She is in the 75th percentile for height and the 95th percentile for weight....she likes to eat!

She did really well with the vaccines. She cried harder than I have ever heard her cry when she got them from the nurse, but 5 minutes later when the doctor came in, she was all smiles for him.

She is really smiling a lot these days and loves to talk to her giggle bug and penguin. When she is getting her diaper changed, she always has something to say to the sheep, cow, and chicken, too.

Fun with Kaden

Addison and I loaded up in the car Thursday evening to spend a couple of nights with Aunt Stacey and Kaden. Uncle Cory was gone on his first ALOT trip and Nana and Pappa are in Florida. We didn't want Aunt Stacey and Kaden to be lonely, so we thought we would visit.

Daddy had to stay home and take care of the cows and farm for Pappa....and what a week it has been! Poor Alex has dealt with two broken down trucks, a cold calf, and a broken electric fence and they have only been gone three days!

Wow! She has grown.

This past weekend, we enjoyed some great weather. Addison and I went on a walk with Nana. This was our second walk, but we are hoping to get some more in this week. We LOVE the stroller Grammy Pam and Grandma Fisser got us.

As you can see from the next couple of pictures (taken Friday evening, January 31), Addison has grown a lot in the last couple of weeks. She has also learned several new things. She can hold her head up pretty well and loves to play airplane with Daddy. She is discovering her hands/fists and loves to talk to herself in the mirror Aunt Amy, Uncle Fritz, and Emmy got her for Christmas. She is starting to grab at objects and my clothes and likes to hold her little rings in her hands while she plays. Addison has also rolled from her tummy to her back for us a couple of times and is starting to mimic us when we make faces and stick out our tongues.

On Saturday afternoon Alex took Kora out for some fun. He was looking for deer sheds and she was enjoying exploring. Alex snapped some great shots of Kora and some geese they found. I think Kora had a blast on their little excursion.
